A great night's sleep
Getting sufficient good sleep is vital to functioning well during the day. Sleep is the means through which we achieve physical and mental relaxation and wake up refreshed. Not only do we perform better after a good night sleep, not getting enough sleep is in fact bad for our health.
The number of hours of sleep required differs from one person to the next. But the most important tip is: listen to your body. Also try to sleep a uniform number of hours per day, as making up a sleep deficit during the weekend is not good for your health either.
Relaxation
One of the secrets to a good night's rest is to go to bed in a relaxed state. So don't go to bed directly after sports or a late-night working.
The calmer the hours before you go to bed, the more relaxed you will sleep and the more refreshed you will awaken. Rule for a good night's rest: the duller the better!
